Conveniently located in the centre of Nelson, our studio has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, supportive environment where you can train with confidence.
From the layout of each reformer to the lighting, screens, and flow of the space, every detail is considered to help you stay focused, move with intention, and get the most out of every session.
It’s not just about how the studio looks, it’s about how it makes you feel: comfortable, supported, and ready to progress.
Our Story
CORE.FORM was created with a simple belief: strength should be built with structure, intention, and expert guidance.
We believe progress should be clear, supported, and sustainable, so you always know what you’re doing and how you’re improving.
For me, this is personal. After years in the corporate world, fitness became a foundation for confidence and resilience. Helping others feel stronger changed everything.
CORE.FORM is the result of that journey, a premium reformer studio built on precision, structured progression, and a supportive experience.
We’re here to help you move better, feel stronger, and build confidence that lasts.
About the Pilates reformer
Born at a World War I internment camp, the first version of the reformer was created by Joseph Pilates to rehabilitate bedbound patients. By attaching springs to hospital beds, he enabled patients to perform resistance training while lying down – a concept that became the blueprint for the Reformer.
In the 1920s, Joseph Pilates opened his own studio and continued to refine his system, grounded in the belief that targeted resistance significantly amplifies the effectiveness of physical movement.
Pilates has come a long way since the 1920s, and we know more today about the human body than then – but his legacy remains. he reformer is an essential piece of equipment that provides an effective way to lengthen and strengthen the muscles of the body. It supports a full range of motion to build strength and flexibility at the same time.
I created CORE.FORM with a simple belief: strength comes from structure, intention and expert guidance. I’m here to help you move better, build strength and gain confidence through clear, supported and sustainable progression.
